These repositories contain packages for Linux clients of NC State University. 

# RPM-GPG-KEY

The top-level RPM-GPG-KEY file contains the public key used to sign all RPM
packages in the main repositories. Departmental repositories use their own
key, which should be located in the departmental repository root.

# Directories

## Public Access

/pub/core/
  Packages which are utilized by the core configuration management ecosystem, 
  and are likely to be installed on any given Linux host. 
  
/pub/opt/
  Packages which are not utilized by the core configuration management ecosystem,
  and may optionally be installed through other means, such as a manual install
  or tenant specific configuration management code.

/stage/
  Staging area to test new versions of packages before publishing to production.

## Limited Access

/boot/
  Files used in the provisioning process to PXE boot machines.

/dept/
  Departmental repositories, owned and managed by various units.

/priv/
  Private packages such as licensed software.
